¡Hola, soy Yumi!

Soy una apasionada del bordado, desde bien pequeña me han gustado las manualidades junto a mi madre y siempre que podíamos hacíamos workshops con juntas.

Mi madre fue la que me introdujo en el mundo del bordado, empecé con el punto de cruz de muy pequeña con un tapiz infantil de un dragón, tardé años en hacerlo porque lo hacía a ratitos por las tardes después de los deberes del cole, pero se alargó tanto que le cogí manía, ¡¡pero lo terminé!! (¡Y aún lo tengo guardado!).

Con el tiempo retomé la aguja y hacia pequeños bordados que veía en revistas para decorar el árbol de navidad, o cosas que simplemente me hacían gracia hacer.

Y ya más adelante, cuando descubrí el mundo anime, japón y su maravillosa cultura, enseguida vi mil opciones para hacer. Así como bordar paisajes o storefronts. O paisajes de anime.

A dia de hoy me siento como una niña, leyendo manga, pensando cuando volver a japón y diseñando el siguiente bordado.

Hi, I'm Yumi!

I am passionate about embroidery, since I was very little I have liked crafts with my mother and whenever we could we did workshops together.

My mother was the one who introduced me to the world of embroidery, I started with cross stitch when I was very little with a children's tapestry of a dragon, it took me years to do it because I did it for a while in the afternoons after school homework, but it took So long I hated it, hahah but I finished it! (And I still have it saved!).

Over time I went back to the needle and made small embroideries that I saw in magazines to decorate the Christmas tree, or things that just made me happy.

And later, when I discovered the anime world, Japan and its wonderful culture, I immediately saw a thousand options to do. As well as embroidering landscapes or storefronts. Or anime landscapes.

Today I feel like a girl, reading manga, thinking about when to return to Japan and designing the next embroidery.
